The O-Shot

-          Rejuvenates the vaginal tissue via growth factors that lead to:

-          For the past 20 years people have been injecting material around the urethra to try to treat urinary incontinence with Radiesse, and injecting hyaluronic acid filler to improve sexual function, these materials don’t always have the desired effect and are not always safe.

What Happens When You Get the O-Shot Procedure

-          The doctor will want to know the details about your sexual history.

-          The provider will help the patient apply a numbing cream to the vaginal mucosa near the opening as well as to the clitoris.

-          The provider then draws your blood.

-          The puts the blood in a centrifuge.

-          The practitioner removes the separated plasma from the blood.

-          By now the women can feel very little in the vaginal area due to the effects of the numbing cream.

-          The practitioner then injects over the clitoral hood with lidocane, to further numb the area.

-          The provider then uses a very thin needle to inject in a very specific way a teaspoon of the PRP into the roof of the vagina.

-          Then about 1/5 of a teaspoon also is injected into the clitoris.

-          Most women will feel no pain with the injections.

Effects of the O-Shot

-          When the PRP is injected it travels through the clitoris, its like injecting into a sponge. The PRP is absorbed into the deeper parts of the clitoris where most of it lies unseen on each side of the vagina within the woman’s body. If the clitoris responds like other tissues in the body the area is going to be rejuvenated with better blood flow, better sensation and overall healthier tissue. The same thing would happen to the roof of the vagina.
